If the cops had shot the armed masked robbers they would be immediately condemned by a certain group of posters here.

You can’t compare a justified shooting ton what a lot of police are pulling off these days, it’s the same in Canada, they’re a force unto their own. It’s an us vs them mentality. I know a couple who aren’t, but by and large that’s the way of it.

I have never seen anyone on this board condemn any LEOs who dispatch armed masked robbers into the afterlife.

The certain group of posters to which you refer would have no problem with police shooting people who are pointing guns at them after robbing a store at gunpoint. Those certain posters are not favorable to criminals whether wearing masks or badges.

Perhaps - But if the shooting was in response to the perps pulling their own weapons first, the vast majority of posters would be lauding the cops.
