Heard on the radio that it was because someone reported seeing and “armed” man, with a gun or “what looked like a gun”. Damned sissy libs- probably saw a kid who chewed his sandwich gun-shaped.

Is there some reason for the irregular capitalization of letters in the message?
“At first I thought it was a Halloween costume. But after I saw the cops I thought it was some sort of threat,” CCSU junior Jordan Governale told the Associated Press. “It’s pretty scary. It’s pretty strange, unexpected.”
