She came here in 2010 under a K1 fiancee' VISA.
Prior to that, we paid about $1000.00 for biometrics (medical to normal people) and the 'tax' of filing forms.
Once here, we had another 4 or 500 $ for the application for permanent resident (green card) and another biometric
All that was done and except for the time waiting, went smoothly.
We're close to fulfilling the three year requirement for citizenship (Dec, '13) and we're waiting for THAT tax ... I trhink it's about 7 or 750 $
After that ... done deal.
Add it up and it has been a $3000.00 affair, over 4 years (if we get it this year or early next), including airfare for her back then
Illegals make that and more in a month ...
