I am reminded of the timeless wisdom of Sun Tzu.
To paraphrase him:
“As you attack the enemy and take his lands, plunder them that you may become richer and more powerful while he is permanently diminished as an enemy”.
If we applied that to the war against islamonazis, we would take their lands, colonize them, and pump their oil or mine their resources.
