The 17-year pause in global warming is likely to last into the 2030s and the Arctic sea ice has already started to recover, according to new research.
A paper in the peer-reviewed journal Climate Dynamics – by Professor Judith Curry of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Dr Marcia Wyatt – amounts to a stunning challenge to climate science orthodoxy.
Not only does it explain the unexpected pause, it suggests that the scientific majority – whose views are represented by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – have underestimated the role of natural cycles and exaggerated that of greenhouse gases.
The research comes amid mounting evidence that the computer models on which the IPCC based the gloomy forecasts of a rapidly warming planet in its latest report, published in September, are diverging widely from reality.
The graph shown above, based on a version published by Dr Ed Hawkins of Reading University on his blog, Climate Lab Book, reveals that actual temperatures are now below the predictions made by almost all the 138 models on which the IPCC relies.........

The UN commission on the Status of Women immediately sent out a press release condemning the IPCC’s statement, saying, “Those old farts can’t even pee standing up anymore. So there!”

Never accepting the fact that they were wrong or more truthfully that it was just a scam on the industrialized nations and the American taxpayers to fund the world entitlement countries thru the UN and the elitists NWO they so convieniently put the word “PAUSE” in the statment. It may be 20 30 40 or 100 years but it will eventually happen!

My father has lived to recant from the 1960's his mini-Ice Age warnings, then with the advent timeframe of the EPA, the subsequent Global Warming. What he knows is that the Sun's cycles on our heating/cooling periods of the earth for the past 120 year or so revolve around 24-28 years periods where it moves one direction or another.
The Democrat Party and their Green Allies are just Snake Oil Salesmen who actually drink the Kool-Aid.
There is indeed a consensus. The consensus is continue pushing global warming or climate change in order insure the continue flow of grants, i.e. academic welfare.
There’s a guy who linked temperatures for the past 40 years to CFCs - and since the CFCs were phased out in the late 1990s, global warming stopped.
Which means we are either stable or getting cooler.
Though given liberals, with global warming or global cooling, the same fascist restrictions will be called for.
On Space.com there is an article by THE LEADING BRITISH CLIMATOLOGIST and he says the Sun is going into another MAUNDER MINIMUM which will lead to another DALTON MINIMUM and that the current solar activity is the lowest for a solar max peak in the last 10,000 years. He claims we are in for another mini Ice Age... perhaps not so short in duration. By golly, this man says that these things are cyclic in nature... who would have ever thought such a thing could be possible? /S
Not one of the computer models have been validated agsinst real data.
The stupidity, ignorance and desperation of our "smarter" people is simply amazing, right out of the comics and bizarro world.
