Whether the current Tappan Zee Bridge gets repaired or replaced, either way it will cost tons and tons of $$$. And it will be a good reason to not only jack up the tolls, but look for excuses to increase taxes.

I love the Tappan Zee! There’s nothing like looking through the pavement and seeing the river. Where else on earth can you get that kinda view?

And where in the hell would they ever route traffic on the Rockland side?? I can’t see it being possible to simultaneously build a new bridge alongside the LeadMonster. It’ll have to be a $1.6B bandaid.

$1.6 Billion for a stinking bridge? And we can't find money to equip our soldiers in battle?

Let them swim across the Hudson and save the money for our Troops!

Better yet, stop the flow of funds to the Imperial Presidency - he spends more of our hard-earned tax dollars on greens fees, expensive dinners and vacations than most people earn in a year!

Funny how the government can charge tolls on infrastructure and still not manage to make a profit, yes? Now imagine the TZB completely privatized instead.

Crappan zee bridge, perpetually under construction since opening day.
And the metal plates bolted to the decking really add to the charm.
And damaged vehicle suspensions.

Another Obama bribe and fix to the Democrats of New York. Cuomo’s gonna run for something.

Hell, they could have asked Bloomturd for the money. He’s got it. Why won’t the cheapskate part with some of it? Answer: Because he’s a buffon, a narcisstic asshole and a cheapskate. Now that wasn’t hard, was it?

I hope they don’t hire the same clowns to fix their bridge that Barry hired to fix his Shopping Experience Marketplace “website”.
