Would you want to even click on the site, being that it is not secure and your information could be hacked and stolen?
Does it really matter if he did, or did not?
They need to call using burner phones..
Stupid me! I did go to the site. Even though I don’t need health insurance (I’ve got it), I wanted to see what it would offer me at what price? But, I was soon sorry I gave them my info. Before I saw any options, I got a notice that I needed to update Adobe (on my MAC!). I wasn’t about to upload anything while I was on the site, so I exited without any information. But, they were able to retain all of mine.
Ouch
burner phones? What are these? Please explain
Burner phones, I believe, are the no-contract cell phones such as TracPhone. Buy them in a store without giving any personal info. Bad guys communicate using them, maybe making just one call, and then they throw them in a river or something. Supposedly untraceable. At least this is what I’ve surmised after years of watching “Burn Notice”, “Law and Order”, Investigation Discovery Channel, etc.
Getting a credit report is part of the process for everyone applying. That will bring where you are employed. It’s not the NSA. It’s not stealing contact lists. It’s your own credit record.
We hang ourselves.
buy disposable phones from convenience stores that are untraceable.
Not Tracphones, I think. DH has on of those. You can be ID’d from the records of buying minutes linked to your number.
I think burners are either 1) stolen or 2) those prepaid already loaded phones you can just buy, use, dispose. I think they can be really expensive as to cost of minutes, though.
IIRC, Obamaphones come with minutes already loaded.
buy once and use up the minutes built into it. It’s not cheap but a news outlet should have a few interns they can send into various 7-11s and rest stops and buy a few using cash..
My point is that these 'revelations' by the media are offensive on their face; the fact that any of this 'surprises' Angle is laughable.
It's along the lines of 'unexpected' economic or jobs reports that we hear about. Unexpected by whom?
These feckless media whores are reaping their just rewards.
