Their cell phones were free, their high speed internet is subsidized by other subscribers (as low as $10 month for up to 24 months for those poor with school aged kids *poor defined as having free lunches - some ISD’s giving all kids free meals aren’t they?).

“The other welfare people, of a darker sort, are the ones who will riot when their SNAP cards are not accepted at McDonald’s or Carl’s.”

I actually had a tiny amount of respect for the Dominican people who were sending SNAP-purchased bulk basic food home in economical barrels.

This is the end of a temporary “stimulus” increase, which -if memory serves- was a Democrat/Obama project.

“I’m really starting to feel stupid for continuing to work and pay taxes.”

Just starting, huh? I did an all-nighter last night and I went to work in the middle of the day after getting a few hours of sleep. The traffic was MUCH WORSE than “rush hour” here! 30 years ago, I repaired computers in the field (pre-PC, when this actually paid something), and I had the road to myself in the middle of the day.

Apparently, after you get the stupid people going to work off of the road, everyone else comes out to buy stuff and go places.

Can’t remember. If memory serves, Bush was doing his usual, cave-o-matic go-along-to-get-along, never saw a collectivist hater scumbag I didn’t like, shtick and going right along with it.

Cook and eat more beans and pinto beans. Spanish (Hispanic) cuisine is full of bean options. Whites are dumb when it comes to beans as in opening up a can is how we do it.

A few billion south of the border Mexicans grew up tough eating beans and chicken. Also white rice. If they ate whole brown rice Mexico would be a superpower. They do roofing here in mid summer. This is what I call tough

I’m reading that these cuts* average about $36 per recipient per month. We won’t even speculate what $9 per week might mean they have to forego.

Cry me a river. These jerks have been sponging off this country now for 10 plus years, working under the table and pocketing the change. Around where we live I see them driving in nothing less than Escalades, Lincoln SUV’s, you name it. Their kids are dressed in the latest clothes and shoes ....don’t feel one bit sorry for any of them.

Guess what ...you want to be an American, you might have to go through some tough times, like many Americans have throughout history. Don’t like it? Go home!!

This is the TARP funding that sunsetted when the demos controlled congress. They could have voted to let it ride but didn’t.Todays demo-coms are blaming others but it was the them that did it not those lousey rotten conservatives and tea party people that want to see poor people starve.

What can be purchased is controlled by each individual state In Wisconsin for example it’s processed and fresh food. Canned and frozen foods but does include candy and potato chips etc.But nothing from the deli or any restaurant. In Massacheusetts tattoos, beer, and whole range of stuff. So when you comment on it try and find out just what your state is offering and if you think it’s over the line start raising hell about it in your state.

RE :”Latinos make up 17 percent of the one in six Americans who use food stamps. According to the National Council of La Raza, Latino families experience food insecurity at a higher rate than non-Hispanic white households (23 percent versus 11 percent). SNAP is often a significant buffer from hunger for children, helping to ensure proper growth and development, the group said. Nearly one in three Latino children in the U.S. lives in a household receiving SNAP, according to NCLR. .... “

And the illegal parents of these kids get them.

Are these the folks who will boost the economy, create jobs, pay for entitlements and reduce the deficit if we legalize more of them?

Begging for food stamps claiming they are starving? Will save us?

This article is stoopit and dishonest.

I was at Walmart the other day and thought “Geeze ! These welfare recipients are so fat for not having much money”.

The fact of the matter is being fat costs more money than being a reasonable weight.

Not that I couldn’t lose 30#’s but, I pay for that out of my own pocket.

Moreover, welfare is a sick Trojan Horse for Latino’s.

I mean, you go to Mexico, Chile, Argentina, etc and their peeps are fairly small.

It’s only when they cross the border that you can hear them getting fatter.

$36 dollars .. they’re hyperventilating over losing $36 dollars ..??

Just cut the food bill by $36 (candy, ice cream, junk food, etc.)

Good grief.
