Sitting here all morning with tears of joy and gratitude streaming down my face. Slept in my own hospital bed last night, but the mattress is too soft, making it very difficult to sit up and move around. Will start looking today for a firmer mattress. Got up in the middle of the night and crawled back into my new powerchair. It has very comfortable cushions and a power recline feature. Threw a lap blanket over myself, reclined the chair and slept like a baby. Slept in late this morning. Got up and made myself a cup of coffee, (ignoring my FR duties, sorry) went out into my own back yard to enjoy the sunshine and cool morning air and offer thanks to God. I’m so happy to be home. Looking forward to the next phase of life.*********************************
