Good for you! Wishing you a speedier recovery now that you’re back home.

Psalm 103:1-2
The will to live is strong in this one. /yoda voice
Glad to hear you’re on the mend and enjoying life. :)
May you be blessed.
According to the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, at one stage the gods decided to shackle the Fenris wolf (Fenrir), but the beast broke every chain they put upon him. Eventually they had the dwarves make them a magical ribbon called Gleipnir. It appeared to be only a silken ribbon but was made of six wondrous ingredients: the sound of a cat’s footfall, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, bear’s sinews (meaning nerves, sensibility), fish’s breath and bird’s spittle. The creation of Gleipnir is said to be the reason why none of the above exist. Fenrir sensed the gods’ deceit and refused to be bound with it unless one of them put his hand in the wolf’s mouth.
Tyr, known for his great wisdom and courage, agreed, and the other gods bound the wolf. After Fenrir had been bound by the gods, he struggled to try to break the rope. Fenrir could not break the ribbon and enraged, bit Tyr’s right hand off. When the gods saw that Fenrir was bound they all rejoiced, except Tyr. Fenrir will remain bound until the day of Ragnarök. As a result of this deed, Tyr is called the “Leavings of the Wolf”; which is to be understood as a poetic kenning for glory.
Tyr lost his hand, yet learned to wield his sword in his left, becoming even more deadly than before. Tuesday is named after him.

and prince of temples.
You da MAN, Jim.... Always knew it!! Welcome back.
Welcome home boss!
Kahlua ManBearPig pit-cooked BumP!!!
I share the knotted tummy thing.
I’ve always resisted any medication or prescription, unless I was really hurting, and resisted taking diabetes or blood pressure meds.. Until a few months ago. Two attempts with interferon/ribaviran, no good,, a new non-interferon regimen will likely be available soon and more follow.
I’m an 11 for a transplant score at this point. 15 is the Get Series point on the MELD scale, the Saddle up and get ready to move some old stuff out and some other stuff in phase.. Kind of how our garage works,, we used to have a two car garage.. We’re down to one space, guess who gets that one? :-)
Hang in there, Bud! You’re an inspiration to many!
God Bless you, Jim.
Well it took you long enough to find that file and the bolt cutters that I left you to make the escape. Next time I will leave you a note with instructions. LOL

Wonderful news! Welcome home.
You seem to be doing quite well, all considered. I smiled the entire time it took me to read your post. God has answered many prayers.
As for your bed.... I recommend that you take a close look at Tempur-Pedic. They’re not cheap, but I have found them to be worth every dime. I have to have the head of the bed at 30* or I can’t breathe worth a darn. Occasionally, I have to elevate my legs. This bed accommodates those needs and it’s very comfortable. We went with twins, so that we can have independent controls and my wife doesn’t wake me when she gets up in the middle of the night. The vibration mode also helps on some nights.
You might also find that the wireless remote adjustability of the bed will help you get in and out.
I hope you get your van modified right away. I know that being stranded would drive me crazy. It’s not so much that I need to drive anywhere, it’s knowing that I can if I want to.
Anyway, I am glad to hear of your improvements....and that you’re home.
God bless.....
Now, it appears you got out of bed and into the fancy chair. You said you “crawled back into my new powerchair.” How did you do that? Surely, you didn't “throw” yourself off the bed onto the floor, then pull yourself up into the chair. Let's talk. You have your knees, can you actually crawl? How did you get in that chair?
Welcome home soldier.
God is good!
That is great news!!! Thankful to God for His many blessings and for answered prayers! May God continue to bless you as you resettle at home!!!
Excellent! Can we send you a few bottles of Siracha?
Bump.
Glad to hear you made the break-out and are now a free man.
