2016: CRUZ TO SOUTH CAROLINA

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) will travel to South Carolina on November 5 to speak at a Renewal Project event with pastors in what is arguably the most important Republican presidential primary state.

This will be Cruz's first trip to the Palmetto State since the government shutdown. Earlier in the year, Cruz was the keynote speaker at the South Carolina GOP's annual Silver Elephant Dinner, which honored former South Carolina Senator and current Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint this year.

According to the Dallas Morning News, other speakers at the Columbia, S.C. event will include Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), "Houston preacher Laurence White, former congressman Bob McEwen and Don Wildmon, whose Mississippi-based American Family Association was instrumental in financing [Rick] Perry’s pre-announcement prayer rally in Houston and appears to be providing funding for South Carolina and similar events in other states."

Ted Cruz is the only available antibiotic that can cure America of its infections which will prove terminal if they are not cleared up.

No mention of where this is going to be. I’d like to be outside with a big THANK YOU sign!

Linking and searching I discovered it’s gonna be in Columbia 11/4-5. But I can’t find out specifically when Cruz is speaking.

To get elected, Cruz can’t do or say anything stupid.

He can’t do or say anything that could be manipulated to appear stupid.

He can’t have done anything in his past that might have been stupid.

He’s 1/4 of the way Palined already. Thank goodness he isn’t white.

...but I'm not convinced he's electable in 2016

Well, we know that squishy RINOs aren't electable. Nominating another squish isn't going to work. Let's try something different next time!

That's kinda what I drew from a talk by a Republican inside-the-beltway "expert" this week. I don't think he's "toxic" and I hope that he has a long career in Republican party politics -- but I'm not convinced he's electable in 2016.

They said the same things about Reagan, look how that turned out.

In truth, the only ones unelectable are those we are being told by the so-called experts that are most electable.

Mitt Romney, John McCain, Rudy Guiliani, etc. should provide you with a good pattern as to who is not electable.

I'll give you another hint: those that moderate, or water-down, the conservative message, those who think they can (and need to) compromise with the left are the ones who are MOST UNELECTABLE.

Actually, he said--( on video at a casual moment to one reporter before he went hunting in Iowa with the Governor)...he would not jump in to endorse a candidate.....he would let the locals pursue their candidate....vet him or her.....and maybe when it's closer to deciding, he-(Cruz) would have something to say....

..he left it at that.

Yep. In Republican-oriented groups, but serious beltway group think. My only concern with Cruz or any other ‘DC unapproved’ candidate is whether our own side will trip them up and divide our side just to maintain the status quo. I wonder if Reagan could have gotten through the 24/7 barrage of news and entertainment entities and their power to shape opinion. In a weird way, he almost benefited from being there before the cable networks and alternative media sources. Less noise to work around.

As we the unwashed conservative bumpkins in flyover country nuke the Beltway RINO Ruling Class in the primaries, don’t be surprised to hear your friends in and around the District of Corruption increase their shrill squawks calling us anarchists, terrorists and a danger to national security.

Because their paychecks depend on making us go away which is not going to happen.

Send them a survival guide autographed by you with a big smiley face drawn on the inside cover. Offer to take them camping out to Great White Falls where you can rough it for a weekend. You can become their Indiana Jones.

Because the way I see it a lot of them are going to packing up the U-Haul trucks and trailers and headed for Boomtown Dakota where there will be the only jobs they can latch onto until we take back Washington and get the economic policies in place to create jobs everywhere.
