This isn’t necessarily something new. The U.S. Army had mandatory “race relations” training for personnel as far back as the 1970’s, and some of it was politically-correct B.S.
I attended one such mandatory training session in 1974. The “instructor” was a black enlisted man who opened the session by declaring that white men were responsible for all of the problems in the world. The training was intended to improve race relations, but it actually made things worse. At least one soldier was “excused” from my mandatory class after repeatedly challenging (in a respectful way) the instructor’s preposterous claims.
I got something similar in 1973-76. The classes fostered hatred rather than understanding.
We had that in the Navy in 1973. They were called “Upwards” seminars. They set back race relations too.
The real agenda was to get even. It was about spite and revenge. They didn’t really want improved relations.
