Parse and spin this anyway you like. It wasn't the appearance on Leno that is leadership, but the fearlessness to go where there is a good chance of personal attacks and "gotcha" type journalism, all the while unapologetically defending and communicating conservative ideals and policies.
But you spin it however you like.
