Colorado gives $2B to illegals through welfare then blackmails voters into tax increases for the “kids/schools”

Chickenpooper you should be in jail.

I would not be so uptight about more money sinking into the public education black hole if some intelligence escaped from it once in a while. This will cost the average family a lot more than they are publicly saying.

Melinda Gates is funding this because she knows that via the Common Core database scheme her company will end up with much of this tax increase.

Back in 2000, the Gates Foundation looked at a series of reading programs that are the best in the nation, one of which is considered the Cadillac of reading programs among the homeschooling world. They passed on them all, which meant they were not interested in funding any effort to make them better known. Instead, they became interested in furthering the goals of Common Core.

The people who they have working at the Gates foundation all came from the Clinton administration.

Amendment 66 would increase the state income tax rate from 4.63 percent to 5 percent and it would also create a second tax bracket for all income over $75,000, which would be taxed at 5.9 percent.

As everyone who was paying attention predicted, that "1%" just turned into the entire middle class.

It will be nice to defeat Bloomy twice in one year, here in Colorado.

Amendment 66 is simply a tool to enrich the Unions, backfill their pension coffers, overturn the Tabor Amendment, and is only the first installment on Progressive State Tax.

It DOES NOTHING FOR THE KIDS!!
They LIE about the intent of the law, and those constraints are NOT WRITTEN INTO THE LAW.

chickenpoophead recently said he diidn’t want bloomberg money in the next anti-gun nut recall election (since it helped so much on the first 2) but now he wants bloomberg money so he can raise taxes for all the classes the teachers unions cut. i’m all for art classes, music classes, and more REAL gym time and they could afford it IF they cut the bs classes and administration overhead and fire incompetent teachers and ease mostly dumbass education class requirements for teachers.you don’t need a BA in education to teach high school chemistry. you need a BS in chemistry and some teaching knowhow. i could teach history as well as at least half the current history teachers and probably know more than half the current history teachers (maybe mnore as i don’t use Zinn’s POS history book)

The advertisement states that it will only cost the average family $122. ONLY? That is a lot of money these days. Especially when Obamacare kicks in and we are going to need every penny to pay for the much higher health insurance premiums that we are now forced to pay.

Thanks, beaversmom and george76. The more debt/revenues they take, the more trouble they can make. Not only 66, but all tax hike efforts will get a no from me, until we see much more respect for property rights, new, small production business starts and more respect in general.
