Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) president Grover Norquist has now turned to left-wing media to continue his smear campaign against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a first-year senator already emerging as a leader of the Republican Party.
“I have never had a criticism of Ted Cruz’s strategy because I’ve never been able to find it,” Norquist said Monday night on Sirius XM’s Standup with Pete Dominick, according to a report in The Daily Beast. Dominick is a reliably progressive radio host who hosts his show on the liberal POTUS network on Sirius XM. The Daily Beast is similarly liberal, having dropped notions of objectivity when Tina Brown killed the Newsweek arm of the publication.
Norquist’s staffers have engaged in a deliberative Twitter campaign against Cruz and the Tea Party movement. Ryan Ellis, the tax policy director for Norquist’s downtown Washington, D.C., organization, recently attacked the National Review’s Andrew Johnson on Twitter. “hey look, the idiot from NRO who thinks shutting down the govt defunds obamacare is attacking me, too,” Ellis tweeted, referencing a story Johnson posted on National Review’s website including a tweet showing he views Sen. Cruz as a “despicable man who lies to good people.”
Ellis also called Tea Partiers “freaking retarded.”
“I've gotta tell you, man, I'm starting to think these tea party activists are freaking retarded,” Ellis said in one of the tweets Johnson posted, directed at right-of-center writer David Freddoso.

If Ted is successful he poses a direct threat to Grover’s cash flow. As it is, Ted has exposed Grover’s conflict of interests.
OR, Grover may be doing the bidding of his Muslim overlords because Ted poses a threat to them as well.

Grover Norquist is another corrupt piece of feces posing as a Republican.
According to a 2011 memoir by former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Norquist was one of Abramoff’s first major Republican party contacts. Norquist and Americans for Tax Reform were also mentioned in Senate testimony relating to the Jack Abramoff Indian lobbying scandal which resulted in a 2006 guilty plea by Abramoff to three criminal felony counts of defrauding of American Indian tribes and corrupting public officials. Records released by the Senate Indian Affairs Committee allege that ATR served as a “conduit” for funds that flowed from Abramoff’s clients to surreptitiously finance grass-roots lobbying campaigns.Norquist has denied that he did anything wrong, and has not been charged with any crime. While serving much of his early political career with Abramoff, Norquist would be hard pressed to prove he knew absolutely nothing about the dealings of Jack Abramoff.
Grover is the Muslim Brotherhood’s best friend.
Keep reminding voters of this fact.
It’s time to break up the GOP. It’s “old” all right, but there’s nothing “grand” about it. TEA Partiers are no longer welcome in the GOP, never mind the fact they delivered the House majority to the repubs in 2010.

The more they attack Ted Cruz, the more I know he is the right man for the job.
These establishment pukes make one glaring mistake in judgement. They assume everyone operates on a political basis. They continually get it wrong time and again. Ted Cruz is not your grandpa’s corrupt politician, no matter how hard they try to paint him as such and he will remind them of that fact at the most inopportune time.

I’ve been wondering if it’s time for Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and the millions of voters who support them to unite and deliver an ultimatum to the GOPe and all their cretin friends. Either this anti-conservative sabotage stops or we are all going elsewhere, and taking our voters and cash with us.
I would rather see the RINOs be forced into a third party, but this is getting ridiculous. Meanwhile our country is sinking into a pit of debt and socialized medicine with no coherent resistance being mounted.
These people see what a natural leader Cruz is and they are pulling out all of the stops to crush him while they still think they can.
Grover used to be their whipping boy like the Kochs. What happened so that he’s now akin to McLame?

OR else run Tea Party candidates in Democrat primaries.
It does no good for the GOP to be surrendered to former Democrats (who left the DNC AFTER Reagan left office) and to permit the DNC to go even MORE Leftist.
The "Big Two" and the MSM (and the challenges to even get ON the ballot across the country) would forever doom a third party challenge.
There are some independents in the federal legislature. One is in the Socialist party, the other was kicked OUT of the Democrat Party yet he still sides with them and gives his vote to them to lead.
Grover is only another pimp of the election industry. I have not been able to find any record of Grover placing his name on a ballot for the voters to show how they support his ideas on public policy.
