Obama said things like you can keep your existing policy. You can keep your current plan, you don't have to upgrade, etc etc. Which is mostly true. What he did not tell you is that your existing plan is going to cease to exist, therefore you will have no current plan to keep. So yes you could theoretically keep your current insurance plan as long as it was continued to be offered but under the new guidelines it won't be.
Same goes true for keeping your doctor. Of course you can keep your doctor. But what was not said is that due to the overwhelmingly hostile new federal law YOUR doctor is very likely to quit being a doctor and retire or drop his private practice and only do ER, etc. etc.
These people are masters of half truths and TOTAL deception. They are evil.
Well people are already loosing their insurances policies because they do not comply with the new law.
No kidding, that is what they are trying to sell to the public.
In my experience a policy is good for one year.
My employer contracts with insurance companies to provide health insurance for a calendar year. Each year new policies are negotiated and new policies are contracted.
So it was a forgone conclusion that at the end of 2013 that most people’s plan would expire and Obamacare would be enforced. The Grandfather clause was window dressing.
Also last time I checked Jon Stewarts rip on Obamcare has been scrubbed by you tube.

As it is written, so it will be...So why didn’t FOX and the other MSM back in 2010 dig out the language from the bill too big to read and let people know obama was lying?
In all this time, has no healthcare reporter actually read the bill?
