Healthcare.gov application and enrollment system down because company that hosts site has an outage; Terremark working to fix ASAP - @JoannePtrs
My wife works for Verizon Terremark...she reminded me that Terremark only supplies the PLATFORM on which the Obamacare website sits..but that is ALL that Terremark does.. she’s in the Dallas office, so, has no idea what is occuring in the Virginia office. Terremark is a computer website HOSTING company, from what I understand. Apparently, they simply maintain the computers. Beyond that, I have no idea what they do, other than what she has told me, which isn’t a lot.
