The United States of America are in a terrible, terrible situation. We are saddled with a government comprised of anti-American Marxists who hate our freedom and everything America used to stand for. This cadre of traitors seeks nothing less than to “fundamentally transform” America from a free nation of citizens into a slave nation of serfs. To do this, their every move since the Obama administration took office has been calculated to destroy the middle class backbone of our nation. A strong, vital middle class is a bulwark for any free nation, and therefore is an obstacle and impediment to the communistic goals of Obama and his gang of governmental thugs.
A good example of this is the ObamaCare debacle. The whole point to this program is to impoverish the middle clases by requiring them to spend onerous amounts of their money buying more expensive health insurance, while simultaneously subsidizing the “Free Stuff Army” half of the country that voted for Obama. Meanwhile, the calculated effort of the Left is toward the failure of ObamaCare, so that it can be replaced by something even worse—single payer socialized medicine in which the government completely controls health care access for most people and the only folks who can obtain “gold star” private health care are the very rich (i.e., like the “elite” in Washington and their buddies in the news media and Hollywood). Just look at the current issues with the Healthcare.gov website rollout, which has been an absolute disaster. I strongly suspect that this has been purposeful, intended to frighten people into demanding that ObamaCare be scrapped…to be replaced with the single-payer system the left-wingers have wanted all along.

The article reminds me of a point that keeps being swept under the rug related to all this 0bamacare stuff and higher premiums, etc. People will have NO MONEY for discretionary spending, which will continue to fuel the downward spiral of unemployment, need for welfare benefits, etc. It will bring us much closer to, if not over the edge, of the brink.
The article has the conclusion correct but the mechanism is completely wrong.
The article states that Obama wants to give free stuff and bankrupt the middle class. That conclusion is correct.
The article goes on and says the mechanism of bankrupting the middle class is obamacare whereby high healthcare premiums on the middle class is the mechanism. This is wrong.
The mechanism is a multi point attack on business of all sizes. The businesses become less profitable and less flexible to provide market based solutions. When business declines, it is the working middle class that suffers.
A second part of the mechanism is the federal debt. More debt and more free stuff eventually means more taxes which will be the second prong of attack on the middle class.
I agree, however I bet you this will NOT happen until AFTER the 2014 election cycle. The economy will continue to be artificially propped up until the anti-americans steal back the house via rigged elections in 2014. After that all hell will break loose, ergo “Big Government” to the rescue! Utopia will be right around the corner!

Conservatives have to quit thinking of Obamacare as a misguided, incompetent attempt to provide universal healthcare. It’s actually a well thought out and cleverly executed grab of power, intended to subjugate all Americans. The IRS will become America’s KGB and access and absolute control of our financial and healthcare information will make dissent and opposition to the government suicidal. Through the NSA, all privacy in expression of thought and communication will be gone. The federal government will become an extension of the Democrat Party, which will have absolute and final authority over commerce, political activity, education, healthcare and private property, and it’s beginning to look like it can’t be stopped.
A point I repeat often is that the socialist viewpoint is driven by greed. Socialism is largely an array of policies that have one common thread—justifying greed. If you look at the policies of the O administration, you see an oft-repeated them—policies that loot American’s earnings and savings, now and future. It may not be the primary theme, I believe that theme is rejection of the American system of law and culture, but it is a popular theme and is always dressed up in noble facades to fool not only the masses but themselves.
The ‘target’ is Small Business. Drive out all small business and what do you have left? The giants that can afford the premiums and stuff the pockets of DC insiders with campaign cash and other goodies.
Get rid of ‘Mom & Pop” stores and services, even down to the hair dressers and plumbing and HVAC people. The bourgeois middle class must be destroyed first before the revolution can begin. That is in the Communist Manifesto................

Check out the Soviet Government during the 20’s and 30’s. And for that matter, the 40’s and 50’. While the people suffered, the members of the Communist Party lived well. The higher up in the Party one was, the more comfortable they lived. The Government by the use of deadly force when necessary took what they wanted from the peasants. The peasants had no recourse. When they got out of line, the Government [police] came down hard on them. they were either killed or imprisoned.
If they are truly planning on confiscating savings, they’d better make sure that there is not a single weapon anywhere in the country first. And quadruple security details.
The general American population has not woken up to the fact that the O administration has been looting the nation for five years. Welfare payments and insuring the “uninsured” are but parts of this. Legalizing the illegals is often viewed as an attempt to swell the ranks of the Dem party, which it will do, but it is also a way to fix tens of millions of baby birds into America who can further loot the earnings of current Americans.
Remember that, from the perspective of the leftist, the world is filled with poor people and their poverty can be alleviated by giving them money from the vast wealth of Americans. I guarantee you that is how they think—their understanding of economics is very very shallow. In fact, it is one of the most prominent characteristics of Obama—his lack of a mature understanding or concern about economics. Consider his appointments for economics positions—they are the privileged wealthy with no understanding of poorer working peoples’ lives. The premiums for O-care are a mere few hundred dollars a month—that is pennies for O’s associates and they don’t even think of what it means to working families—they can’t think that way, they have never known that way of thinking.

The use of modern technology by the NSA and the ACA are a fascist’s wet dream. They can easily destroy or even snuff out anyone who does not toe the party line. That’s half of America.
The idea of a single-payer system is just one of the desires of the leftists. They have for decades assumed that a single-payer system simplifies a complex system, will reduce costs, and be generally cleaner and better. They have an unconscious belief that gov’t control is inherently moral and good and they never consider implementation problems or the unintended consequences of their overly-simplistic solutions to problems. That is the bubble that lives in the leftist’s head—it is an absence of critical considerations and an absence of critical assumptions associated with their solutions to problems.
It might come as a surprise that leftists also care about costs, in a simple way. They worry about too much cost but the have different ways to save money. They want to stop spending on a military because they just don’t like military matters and they can’t conceive of what it is like to be under threat, it is too distant and abstract to them because they are here in the safe land of Dancing with the Stars. They also think way too much money is wasted on end-of-life care; that money spent on your health in the last two months of your elderly existence. From their comments, I have come to believe they obsess about health care costs—in part because they think doctors are overpaid (jealousy) and care is expensive (sure—its difficult to learn to do and requires expensive efforts to provide). Leftists don’t care a bit about taxing you heavily—they always think taxes are too low relative to what they need to spend on their grand plans. But, when it comes to other systems having large amounts of money, like the health care system or “corporate America”, it is too much—they don’t control that money so it is a problem in their eyes.
Leftist psychology is odd but it can be figured out—mostly—except for the purely irrational, emotional, contradictory, and dishonest stuff.

If you look at other socialist societies, they control everything, including the economy. They set interest rates, control all money and money flows and often create walls between their economy and other competing economies. The USSR simply walled their society off from the rest of the world then told everyone what USSR money was worth. You could not interact with the rest of the world so, as long as total system control was maintained, their was no need to generate money for the gov’t. It was an artificial, controlled system. It eventually fails in disastrous fashion. The Greeks simply fudged the numbers and depended on support from the rest of the EU. That failed. The USSR stopped paying bills. Other socialist states or less controlled societies like old Argentina simply printed cash and inflated themselves into the ground.
It appears that the US will follow a path toward losing reserve-currency status then it is unclear what may happen—inflation seems a high risk and socialist states tend to gravitate toward inflation because it is somewhat slow and you can “spend ahead of the wave” coming at you. Asset sales are inadequate. Price and wage controls are smoke and mirror policies but are likely because the masses tend to clamor for these.
