Although this article doesn't say it, the dogs were (you guessed it) pit bulls. (dogs of peace who only have bad owners, and are otherwise always blameless) I hope they throw the owners under the jail.

In other news the owner of a pit bull that attacked a kid causing the kid to lose an arm is going on trial today. Hoping for significant jail time for her too. People who keep animals and who let them out to cause harm should be held criminally liable for the damage their pets do.

During the last couple of years pit bulls have become more common in Colombia. Very disturbing to many folks here where pets are loved. But then again the news hasnt reported many attacks.

A man in Panama City Florida was recently convicted of manslaughter after his two pit bulls, which were roaming the streets, attacked and killed a seven-year old neighborhood boy. This should happen more often to owners who do not control their pets IMHO.

No mention of the breed of dog, but I’m betting it was those DAMN Irish Setters again.

Why not throw the owners in a cage with pit bulls owned by other bad owners.
