Gadzooks! Bill Belichick admits he was "wrong" and the same day Obama says Obamacare isn't "perfect!" Is this... the end of the world, Doc?

The only way to know for sure is for you to bend over and cough--

Can do, Doc... Ooooooooopppppppppppppppps!

That... was not a cough!

Well then... here are my picks for week 8:

Thursday Night Feeball will find the old Camshafter coming back home wearing a string necklace of bloody buckin' ears

Sunday finds the Saint Dome being home for a Buffalope bar-be-que

The Brownstains will be the 8th victim of my new hero, Big Chief Andy... and my Old Dallas Texans

Bill "Hell, yes-- I did say I was wrong!" Belichick and big's Pattycakes feast on Miami Doll-Phin soup

Pharmboy, don't watch. Vick is back with a short leash on his Iggles and they'll eat Eli's lunch

The 69ers will make the soap suds erupt in the Jags' shower stalls

Jino's Jersey Wiseguy Jets get wacked at TCU North

Okay, Seven, I am going out on a limb here... and picking your Waiders over the Stoolers. Don't let me down!

They are setting up a roulette wheel in the desert and I'm betting on the Red Byrds over Vick's old Black Byrds

Mile High Manning is pissed and RG3 and 1/3rd is in his way. It won't be pretty--

Now, big's Packerwackers host the Viqueens, so shouldn't this... be considered another bye?

Mon Oct 28
The Seahags will crap all over the Bradfordless Yews even if they can get Tim Teapartybow to play--

The Bye, Gay & Lesbian Weekend Getaway gets new members from Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Indianapolis, San Diego and Tennessee

And my Boys will tame the Bankrupt Bozs even if... they use real lions

Isn't it too bad that the Americana pastime has been so corrupted? You have to buy a special channel to watch some College sports and some pros? I only get maybe 2 games a year that of my team on the new HDTV fiasco. I used to get Baton Rough which is thousands of miles away and not I can't even get denver or Cheyenne. One channel TV is ridiculous.

I am pretty sure my Bills will lose at the Aint the Aint’s No More but if they keep it close and Thad Lewis continues his consistent, if not flashy, play in this game and I the coming weeks — things could be quite interesting when EJ Manual comes off the injured list.

Gadzooks, mount-- If you could pickup Baton Rouge in Louisiana while you living are near Denver and Cheyenne... you must have had one hell of a set of rabbit ears!

Guess you put a lot of tinfoil... on them, eh?

FYI..from "The Atlantic"..a somewhat interesting article on why safety concerns could threaten football's long term viability:

"Why football must get safer"

I used two long range antennas and two amplifiers. The analog signal was great. Digital signals were the poorest choice. I don't think the digital signal can get through dirty denver’s smog. I used to get 22 stations on a set of rabbit ears before I moved here. I used to get Cheyenne also. Now radio reception is poor also. Centurylink and DSL were out for 4 weeks during the flood but are my main source of information.

Latest manufactured complaint in KC is about the local tradition during the singing of the National Anthem. At the end you have 70,000 people singing "...Oer the land of the free/and the home of the CHIEFS". Some moron complained that was unpatriotic. I'm surprised they haven't taken off after the War Chant and the Tomahawk Chop.

Regardless, We'll be there on Sunday as we beat up on the Browns. Eight and oh. Who would have thought?

Two question, commish-- About... this EJ Manual, does it tell you how to get the blinking "12:00" to go away?

And the 2nd is asked by one of our elites from the Peoples Republic of Austin: "Aren't you forgetting... the other three equally important Gs? Ginger Snaps, Gouda and Pinot Grigio?"

Re: I used two long range antennas and two amplifiers. The analog signal was great.

I can remember as a small child in the early 1950s listening to the radio we had that could pull in radio stations from far away such as I recall: WSM Nashville, KFI Los Angeles, WQEW New York City, KDKA Pittsburgh, WGN Chicago and CBN St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador--

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww-- The good old days... when I was not old enough to know of all the crap coming our way!

Re: "...Oer the land of the free/and the home of the CHIEFS"

Well, I have a complaint-- Since your Chiefs are my Old Dallas Texans... maybe y'all should sing "Texas Our Texas" on Throwback Uniform games?

Texas, our Texas! All hail the mighty State!
Texas, our Texas! So wonderful so great!
Boldest and grandest, Withstanding ev'ry test;
O Empire wide and glorious, You stand supremely blest.

God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth,
Thro'out the ages long.

Texas, O Texas! Your freeborn single star,
Sends out its radiance to nations near and far.
Emblem of freedom! It sets our hearts aglow,
With thoughts of San Jacinto and glorious Alamo.

God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth,
Thro'out the ages long.

Texas, dear Texas! From tyrant grip now free,
Shines forth in splendor your star of destiny!
Mother of heroes! We come your children true,
Proclaiming our allegiance, our faith, our love for you.

God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth,
Thro'out the ages long.

Go Cowboys, play ball!

Well, I guess y'all could change that last part... to "Go Texans, play ball!"

And in the spirit of the 1962 AFL Champion Dallas Texans, Hail to... Hank Stram, Len Dawson, Abner Haynes, Jack Spikes, E.J. Holub and Fred Arbana just to name a few--

I take consolation in the fact that the Texans will not lose this weekend.

They won't lose in Houston... nor in Kansas City!

It is a scientifically established fact that the combination of the smoke generated by all the tailgaters every Sunday coupled with the fumes generated by the barbecue sauce liberally applied to the food being cooked has removed every trace of their Texan origins, just as if they had been dosed with a powerful antibiotic. So there are no Texans playing in Arrowhead. Only Kansas City Chiefs.

Gadzooks! Don't tell that to... Jamaal Charles & Derrick Johnson (University of Texas), Cyrus Gray (Texas A&M), Quintin Demps (Texas-El Paso) or Thomas Gafford (University of Houston)-- All Texas born and bred!

The 9-0 Chiefs in 03 lost to the Bungles, so even though that was a decade ago, maybe there’s some small hope for a Browns upset here.
Rest of my picks are:

Panthers
Saints
Cowboys
Pats
Eagles
49ers
Jets
Raiders
Broncos
Falcons
Packers
Seahawks
