Rep. Grayson blasted over anti-Tea Party email showing burning cross

Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson, who is known for lobbing over-the-top rhetorical bombs at his political foes, once again is being accused of taking things too far -- after his campaign sent an email that compared the Tea Party to the Ku Klux Klan while depicting a burning cross. The email showed a large image of the flaming cross, with the letters "ea Party" etched in to the right of it. The caption read: "Now You Know What the 'T' Stands For." The email included "pointed analysis" from Grayson in which he said, "The Tea Party is no more popular than the Klan," blasting the conservative organization for its role in the showdown that resulted in the two-week partial government shutdown.

I for one have put Rep Grayson on notice. If, while attending a Tea Party or Overpasses for Impeachment rally I am in any way physically assaulted, and if there is the slightest reason to believe the perpetrator was in any way influenced by this outrageous Tea Party-kkk comparison, I will personally sue Mr. Grayson and his staff for vicarious liability. Ironically, this legal tactic was successfully used by the SLPC and NAACP concerning a racially motivated murder against White supremacist John Metzger. I've made this claim about Tingles Matthews, and many other "progressives" and I'll say the same thing here. Alan Grayson must be a closet racist himself. Instead of dealing with his own bigoted attitudes, he needs to project his personal racism on those who disagree. Why? To score "Brownie points" with the low-info schmucks who put him back in office? Or is he in reality a weak little man? Or both?

Of course Grayson is way too ignorant and stupid to know the history of the KKK. The KKK was borne out of the anti emancipation movement of southern democrats. These southern democrats couldn't stand thinking that negroes were being granted equal protection under the law. No, the southern democrats liked things the way they used to be before the civil war. They loved it when all a white had to do was accuse a black of any crime and they were punished, even hanged without any due process. That they were losing that power over blacks whom they considered less than human was intolerable to the southern democrats, so they formed the KKK as a way of terrorizing any who would try to give blacks even simple rights to freedom and judicial processes.

I don’t think there’s any point getting angry at Grayson. Like the Westboro Baptist Church, he knows very well that the things he says are disgusting and vile. He doesn’t care. His goal is to be disgusting and vile and piss off people who care about honesty and decency. He wants to give his left-wing constituency wet dreams. He wants angry attention. And he is getting it.
