” A record number of insider attacks - accounting for about one in every five coalition combat deaths - last year prompted the coalition to briefly suspend all joint activities and take steps to curb interaction between foreign and Afghan troops.

That has cut down the number of incidents, but some soldiers say the measures have further eroded the trust painstakingly nurtured between the allies over more than 12 years of war.”

The solution is simple , when you have a green on blue incident , you identify the perpetrator , then figure out where his family is , then go out and eliminate them all . No remainder , no mercy . Green on blue would swiftly end .

We aren’t the SS. Murdering their familes is impotent and not the American way. What we should do now is leave. but what we *should have done* is utterly forbid anyone living in a conquered area like Afghanistan or Iraq from having any weapon whatsoever,,,ever.

Anyone carrying a weapon should have been shot on sight. How many Japs were allowed to stroll around carrying rifles in Tokyo after the surrender?

The insurgency we have now is what you get when you refuse to let them know they had their asses kicked. We should never have gone there unless we were willing to catastrophically break their hearts. Mecca should be nuked.
