Obviously he read the ACA very carefully and saw the $716 billion extracted from Medicare, but somehow that fact registers, if at all, in some different section of his brain reserved for Democrat initiatives.

Oh boy. Pretty soon we’re going to have leftist factionalism breaking out under the pressure. It’s going to be the socialists against the marxists, the lib dems against the anarchists, the mensheviks vs. the bolsheviks. They can all get along as long as there’s more stuff to steal but we’re almost to the Thatcher Limit where there’s no more other people’s money.

This union mentality (pardon the term) is what put Detroit in bankruptcy.
That given, most seniors would be on board for thug protection of their checks.

Richard Trumka wasted millions trying to defeat GOP candidates in 2010 and then flushed millions more down the toilet in the union assault on Wisconsin's public employee reforms and the failed Walker recall. He backs Obama’s “immigration reform” which will replace millions of rank-and-file union members with newly minted “ciudadanos.”
Trumka is the proverbial flea floating down the river on a leaf, masturbating while yelling: “Open the drawbridge!”

Trumka STFU. The only thing the Republicans want is the fraud cut out of SS, Medicare, and Medicaid so it will be solvent. It is the communists Democrats that you support are lying and welcome fraud to build their voting base. Wake up, ass.

I read in Forbes that Polish government basically confiscated the pensions of private individual. The took any Polish Bonds and basically cancelled the debt. It also looks like they may go after private retirements as well. Net impact is about 50% of retirement.
BOY- glad that can't happen in the USA- right.... Well by most accounts, American's that worked their adult life post 1982 Social Security Reform will earn a compounded return of -0.7%. Given that inflation since 1982 is 4.5%, over the last 21 years the government has confiscated 41% of your money you put into social security.
Furthermore, if SS was private and one could earn just 1% better than inflation, the value of your SS would be 10% higher.
SO Uncle Sam has taken 51% of your retirement- the Polish deal of 50% isn't so bad,

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka isn’t an elite liberal and he’s not an underclass black or an illegal. That means he doesn’t have much of a place in the modern Democrat party...
