It makes me wonder how many people might get a mysterious confirmation email
from the .gov website to verify that they had created an account,
because someone else might have gone to the .gov website...
...and accidentally entered an incorrect email address,
...or entered a random email address,
...or intentionally entered the email address of some one else,
either as a joke on a friend, or picking on a non-friend,
...or entered the email address of a politician, celebrity, or news-person.
People would not do things like that, would they?
