In the San Antonio area, there seems to be a Doc-in-the-Box/diagnostics center/specialty clinic on every corner.

Wow, you must be reading liberal literature... Us Veterans can’t even imagine such care... who are you talking about anyway, the illigals? Well, they do get care before the citizens so I guess you are right there...

Bet most of their patients are covered by some sort of CHIP or Medicaid program. Did some comparison and the rates being paid for these programs are higher than the rates being paid by private insurance carriers for the same procedures.

Big difference though is that we Texas taxpayers are paying for the CHIP and Medicaid participants while employed individuals pay for their own insurance.
