There is no such thing as a prank involving dry ice. It is often used by bombers to pack nitroglycerin, so that when the dry ice sublimates, the warmed nitro will explode with minimal vibration.
You know the old yarn about a ticking package containing a bomb? It’s not a clock that’s ticking, it is the sound of dry ice fracturing as it warms.
