MECCA - Authorities arrested 34-year-old Esmeralda Gonzalez Martinez from Thermal for voluntary manslaughter and willful harm to a child. She was identified as the mother of the deceased newborn found at Mecca Community Park on Coahuilla Street.
Detectives from the Thermal Station and the Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene Monday around 7:25 a.m. where they found a lifeless baby boy on the playground, next to the community center and Mecca Elementary School.
They believe the boy was born and died at the location. Authorities also found Gonzalez Martinez at the scene, and she was transported to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of death, but an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

With Calif ignoring immigration detainers, I pray they do let her out of jail so she can flee the country,but Calif does cuddle their illegals.
How about another key detail - if the baby had been born live in an abortion clinic, killing it would be expected and non-punishable.
