In Iowa they threw out the entire state supreme court for doing this. Don’t know if NJ has retention votes for their supreme court, but if so, the Republican’s have an issue for the next election.

Not anymore, SCOTUS has ruled on the issue and Kennedy decided Gay Marriage is the law of the land. Pretty much, every state is going to have to at least recognize them, even if it is illegal in that state.
