I am sorry to say this but Maggie Gallagher is drinking the kool aid. One the reasons the McAuliffe Pro-Choice ads have been so effective is the GOP made abortion an issue by bringing up a Personhood Law, life is defined as beginning at conception, and Post-Gosnell type abortion restrictions in the VA legislature in 2012.
The current Governor McDonnell avoided talking about abortion when he won in 2009 despite the efforts of the Washington Post, and the Democrats, but that was because abortion was a dormant issue in VA back then.
The VA GOP followed Maggie’s advice in 2012, stirred the hornets nest, and now they are getting stung to death.
