You’re not going to get rid of RINOs, ever. America is too diverse and too wishy washy to come to our side. We’re too harsh for the rest of the country.

The Dems offer something, big/expensive/intrusive government, with a ‘we got your back’ guarantee.

We offer - liberty and you’re on your own.

We have to come up with a better sales pitch. We need to learn to deal with RINOs on the many issues we can agree on. We need to take an incremental approach to getting things right. The best way is to win on economic issues. Get the economy going and the rest will follow.

The shutdown proved that you can get along at 90% of what we spend now. That can be tightened under a better POTUS. Remember when the world was going to end under Bill Clinton?

We need a focused message that covers issues 60%+ of voters agree on. That’s how you win and that’s how you keep power. Gingrich once said that the angels are in the details. We can do that, again.

As far as I am concerned; everyone on the above lists support ObamaCare. In one form or another; they ALL opposed efforts to undermine it. They must ALL go. Let them squeal, let them argue. Out. All of them.

Contact each Rep and thank them for supporting you and that you will support them especially if they want to Run For Senate.

I often wonder who keeps voting for Lamar! and Bob when we get Conservative House members...

Those voting against the 'lesser of two evils'...conservatives are always washed out in Tennessee's flawed primary system, and you wind up with a RINO candidate in the general.

This list should be given a prominent home on FR until they are voted out of office. Close ALL Republican primaries. End the shenanigans; remove the RINO’s.

All my relatives still in North Michigan are well aware of Benishek and Camp's votes. The Camp votes are turning into Peter Konetchy votes.

“If we got rid of the “RINOs” the GOP would go from a minority party to a fringe party.”

First of all, that is simply not true.

Secondly, even if it were true, so what? About the worst that would happen is the new party would lose the same battles which are now being surrenderedd without a fightby the GOP. At best, the third party would lose battles same as now while representing their constituents faithfully and leaving the door open to the opportunity to grow into the first party by demonstrating faithful competence. Every party, reformed Republican or third party, has to start somewhere in the face of adversity.

Out of our 9 congressional districts only 2 are D..Nashville and Memphis..

Every one of them voted NO

Even Cohen in the Ford families old stompin ground voted against Obama..

1. Phil Rose R Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Morristown
2 Jimmy Duncan R Knoxville, Maryville
3 Chuck Fleschmann R Chattanooga, Oak Ridge
4 Dr Scott Desjarlais R Murfreesboro, McMinnville, Cleveland
5 Jim Cooper D Nashville, Dickson
6 Diane Black R Cookeville, Crossville, Gallitin
7 Marsha Blackburn R Clarksville, franklin
8 Stephen Fincher R Nth Memphis, Jackson, Dyer

Freepers, take advantage of our wonderful state forum feature which is one of the most useful wonderments of Free Republic.

I went to our Florida state board and posted the names I got off this thread....the names of those wusses who voted to end the government shutdown.

This is a way to inform freepers who may not read every FR thread of what their senators and local congresscritters are up to. The various state forums brings local politics even closer.

I listed congressmen Bilirakis and Webster as "yes" voters....and urged readers to contact them.....plus to go to their respective web sites to read their post-vote statements.

These statements are pure gobble-dee-gook, spin, ludicrously comical...and designed to turn their lemon votes into lemonade for the benefit of their districts' low-information voters. It's worth the price of admission to read them.

My posts on the Florida state board is now generating interest and a spirited conversation.

I hope each of you reading this will pick out the names of your senators and representatives from the list posted upthread......and get something going on your particular state's FR forum.

Continual communication and updating is crucial among conservatives....and we have the tools to do this at FR.

Leni

This coupled with Bohner’s refusal to appoint a Special Prosecutor in the Benghazi debacle in spite of a letter signed by 87 Reps. is why he needs to be replaced...NOW!

Boehner

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it traditional for the Speaker of the House to not vote unless necessary?

Kline

At one point in time, I thought this guy was a conservative. Guess not.

Sadly, despite an energetic email and phone campaign among voters in the district, my crappy RINO congress critter voted to support the surrender.

As did mine (Davis, IL). Fortunately, he has a primary opponent.
