This miserable RINO made an intentional act to deceive and then cover his deceit with further deception . . . using the press as the vehicle.

This 2 billion dollar dam is important to his career and may even be named the "Mitch McConnell Dam." There are "white lies," "whoppers" and "damn lies!" This is a damn lie!! We know that McConnell has personalized something that is important to HIS legacy and this 2 billion dollar project is that.

I believe I read somewhere yesterday that it’s actually $3 billion in pork.

Obamacare is exposing the RINO’s schemes. It’s causing too much pain to cover over with lies. It may be the “bridge too far” but not in the way the RINO’s intended it. If they weren’t so out of touch with the American people they might see it.

The GOP, led by McConnell and Boehner, does not deserve
to survive.

The GOP LIES worse than the DNC.

The GOP LIES worse than the DNC.

“Moreover, this will start a dangerous precedent in which the debt ceiling is meaningless and future increases will sail through Congress as long as members can cower behind a press release vote.”

You mean, much like it’s been done up to this point? Granted, this crap sandwich takes away the RINO camouflage, but is it really any different than the predictable pubbie surrenders of the past few years? Only thing different is taking out the sham vote, and replacing it with yet another windmill to be tilted at by the surrender monkey RINO Don Quixotes, charging madly ahead while riding backwards.

Two thirds majority to override? Sure...

And the critters kept their exemption (that wasn’t in the bill they passed, while the Senate bill was different in many ways from the House bill, and Zero has changed that mutated bill on his own, and—whew!)
But the worst thing is, the RINO country club GOP-e, so ashamed of its base, picked a fight.
After constant whinging and fronting-and-centering before a dicta(s)ter who commands no respect outside the Beltway, they simply surrendered. Quit. Threw in the towel, though not a mark/glove was laid on them. They donned the mantle—voluntarily—of the loosers Patton warned the American people would not abide.

Each successive Congress is a unique formation. Each has authorities, powers and responsibilities stipulated within the text of the Constitution. To believe that today's Congress has the authority to impair the constitutional requirements of every successive Congress is fanciful. To believe that, is to believe that today's Congress would be able to raise taxes to 99% and proclaim that such rates are to be enforced in perpetuity - that no future Congress had the authority to alter the rate.

This Congress has no authority to waive or to diminish the rights and responsibilities of future Congresses.

Mitch McConnell's campaign is the litmus test for Redstate. The site's biography brags about supporting Marco Rubio, which is somewhat curious these days, but point six on the site's posting rules deserves scrutiny.

"6. It is forbidden to promote or give any kind of support for parties other than the Republican Party, or candidates running against Republican primary, caucus, and/or convention nominees. Exceptions to this rule are granted when announced prominently on the front page of the site."

This would mean that if Mitch McConnell or Lindsey Graham win their primary challenges, Redstate will support both of them barring some pronouncement on high from Erick Erickson. Which won't happen.

Horowitz is wonderful, but the time is here to stand up and be counted. Are conservatives serious about getting rid of RINOs or not?
