A wave of Yuppie refugees fleeing the muggers, the vagrants, the junkies, and the squeegie men will make a big impact on demand for housing in the suburbs. The good old urban experience is only bearable when you have a Guiliani and give the devil his due, Bloomberg in the mayor’s office. With DeBlasio it will be Detroit on the Hudson. Those of you outside the area looking to make a buck in real estate, Bergen County NJ is a good bet if you get in now, before the election.
