“Accessory to a crime” works. Covering up for a confessed techy stalker, harrasser, and perpetrator of manslaughter should be thrown in.
Technological crimes among the very young, resulting in death by suicide of other adolescents is not much longer going to get a pass. It happened when vehicular homicide replaced the horse and buggy, and technology is coming right along as a tool for slander and terrorism causing death.
No it doesn't because the were NOT accessories to anything, and for that matter, I don't consider "being mean" to someone on line a crime either. A crime would be pushing the girl off a cliff yelling "jump jump" to a wackjob on a ledge isn't a crime.
You people who are all for using the mindless power and minions of the state to punish behavior you find offensive should seriously consider the implications of what you're suggesting.
For example, if I were to call you a useful idiot who empowers tyranny would you go kill yourself? Would you even consider it? Of course not. So unless there's something seriously wrong in your psyche mean words do you no harm, and it they do, it's YOUR problem , not the problem of those who said them. Save criminal prosecution for criminal acts, and lets NOT give the state yet another handle on screwing the serfs.
