funny how the U.S. ran on this continent with hardly any taxes until the income tax of the 20th century. People prospered on the North American continent from 1600 to 1900 with almost no government and almost no taxes(especially as compared to now).the U.S. grew into a world power in the 1800’s with very limited small govenrmnent and very low taxes.
