During a panel discussion on MSNBC on Wednesday, host Martin Bashir and guests mocked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for misleading those who trusted him into a political dead end which also had the effect of reducing the Republican Party’s approval ratings. Bashir repeatedly linked Cruz to Branch Davidian sect leader David Koresh who perished after a federal raid on his facility in Waco, Texas.
“Do you think Ted Cruz is a bit like the David Koresh of the Republican Party?” Bashir asked a visibly shaken BuzzFeed reporter, McKay Coppins. “He’s a bit like a character who believes himself to be anointed, believes himself to be a prophet, ignores everything, and torches the place in the process.”
“You always come to me with these excellent comparisons that get me in trouble with Republican sources,” Coppins replied.
Bashir repeated the question. “Is he the David Koresh of the Republican Party?”
Coppins said that there were two lines of thinking as to what Cruz’s motives were, Bashir’s being one. The other being that Cruz was attempting to position himself ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

And MSNBC is the Amelia Earhart of cable news.
A guy named Bashir who is a big supporter of a guy named Hussein.

There really needs to be a more concerted and sustained criticism of the Left’s appeals to violence.
We need to do more ‘hate speech’ critiques of anti=conservatives.

Bashir is fun to watch because he is outraged about everything the GOP does.
Watch an hour show and count how many times he uses the word ‘outrage’.
Its so beat to death by him its almost satire. He makes me laugh its so silly.

David Koresh was a good guy, and a professor of religion from UCLA told me so.
The Democratic Party murdered him and a whole heap of children to prepare its totalitarian engine, and Holder was in it up to his moustache.
