Seriously? I think Boehner is not the one to blame here, he clearly got dragged to this unvoluntarily, but once he was in it I think he did the best he could with a losing hand.

The real traitors here, were the Senate Republicans, Boehner knew they weren’t going to hold their ground from the get go, and if they weren’t going to he had no win.

No one was going to let the US truly default over political theater.

Boehner is no angel and IMO he did not put forth much effort to fight Obammy on the shutdown/debt celing/ZeroCare. It just adds up to too much. McConnell is a traitor, too. Don’t let him get away, either.

My post on another thread...applies here.

The difference is when Reid says he is not budging, you know he isn’t going to. When Boehnor says he isn’t moving....everyone knows the cave is imminent. He has undermined himself over and over again and has no credibility with anyone.

I would agree that given Boehnor’s well known history of capitulation, it would be hard to know what to do to regain any credibility.

Everyone who voted to make re-elect him Speaker is to blame. This is nothing new. They all knew that he had zero leadership ability and zero credibility yet chose him as their leader.
