One issue I have with this is does Obama ever negotiate with Republicans? This makes it sound like it is a novel approach for him.
He’s never negotiated anything.
Heck - he often couldn’t bring himself to vote “yes” or “no” in Illinois.
He doesn’t .... Do stuff.
Obama’s definition of negotiation is to say to the Republicans “You must agree to the demands and wants of myself and the Democrats first and then we will come to the table.”
