Yes, that’s the flaw in the plan, but it’s always the flaw in the plan when the plan is collectivism.

Chances are that Bill Ayers will be the one swinging from a lamp post, long before that 25 million number is reached.

He is/was right that it comes down to numbers. I look at it this way ... there are 80 million firearms owners in this country. If 1% of 1% of those decide to not go quietly, there will quickly be 8,000 Wacos/Ruby Ridges. Which will exceed the ability of Federal law enforcement to respond to (and because local law enforcement, which will understand better whats happening, will establish the perimeters but otherwise stay out of it).

There will need to be a crushing response to those 8,000. Not too good for them, but it'll probably spur another 1% or 1% to make a stand. That's now 16,000 incidents, with the exception that the second 8,000 will anticipate another crushing response and will adapt accordingly. So instead of hunkering down, they'll go hunting.

Then consider this ... what happens when people involved in neighborhood feuds over petty little things like dogs taking cr@ps on the wrong lawns start to realize that ratting out "gun owning" neighbors will result in a ... crushing response? My guess is that a LOT of Conservative gun owners will quickly forget the whole "bear false witness" thing and start fingering their neighbors. The ones who just happen to have fading Obama/Biden bumper stickers on their cars.
