11,588,500 Words: Obamacare Regs 30x as Long as Law

Bureaucracies in the Obama Administration have thus far published approximately 11,588,500 words of final Obamacare regulations, while there are only 381,517 words in the Obamacare law itself.

That means unelected federal officials have now written 30 words of regulations for each word in the law. …

If you make laws that are so complex and convoluted you reach a point where no one can comply, making everyone a criminal.

The average book on amazon.com has about 64,000 words.

This law and its regulations are still being written, but so far it would fill 190 books.

Looks like they will have to build a lot more prisons.

There are 4543 words in the original, un-amended Constitution, including the signatures. The Declaration has 1458 words.

How long did they debate and polish those gems before they were passed?
