They were warned repeatedly that the system was flawed and had not been adequately tested. They were advised to postpone the website launch until it worked properly.

They ignored the advice because they knew that public sentiment was turning against them at a rapid pace. They had to get enrollments going, no matter what.

They knew that, as with any “entitlement” program, once people were enrolled, there’s no turning back.

I don’t believe they thought it would be as big a train wreck as it is. with all the negative experiences coming to light, no one in their right mind wants to go near the exchanges.

You got that right! I do not think they planned this fiasco, they just let politics dictate. They had no idea how incompetent they are! ; )

The system is so messed up the insurance companies cannot tell who is enrolled or not. If the insurance company does not know if your are enrolled or not, you are not enrolled. Thanks to the portal called Obamacare — the gateway to nowhere but increased costs, copays, and deductibles.
