I hope Mr. Boehner understands that. I’m not in Boehner’s district (by the grace of God I call Texas home) but I would chip in cash to primary him to the curb.

I think Boehner knows he will be replaced as Speaker and as a Congressman if he caves on defunding Obamacare.

I might applaud the Senate’s deal except for one thing - the Dems have a track record of not keeping their part of any bargain. Regan learned that lesson with the amnesty deal he got tricked into signing. Bush, 41, learned it with the taxes deal.

The list goes on and on. I don’t trust Reed, zero or any Dem to keep their word!

Reagan learned that lesson with the amnesty deal he got tricked into signing. Bush, 41, learned it with the taxes deal. Bush, 43, never learned the lesson and the Dems played him over and over starting with NCLB.

The list goes on and on. I don’t trust Reed, zero or any Dem to keep their word!

RE :”The terms: Government re-opens and is funded until mid-December, debt ceiling is raised for another six to nine months, and Democrats maybe agree to repeal ObamaCare’s medical-device tax and reinstate anti-fraud measures for O-Care applicants — depending upon what Republicans give them in return”

Is Reid going to make McConnell and Bohner sign the deal in that old French railway car where Germnay surrendered in the Treaty of Versailles??

Thats a “deal”?

Does Reid also get their granddaughter’s hands in marriage along with a huge dowry?

Boehner wants to keep his job, so Reid’s proposal is going nowhere.

No, I think the plan is to force the Senate plan on us. Then the House GOP will scream that it wasn’t their fault. They did the same in 1995 shutdown.

Since the Senate RINO's keep offering Reid a surrender cheque that their asses can't cash, why doesn't Boehner just announce that he will negotiate with Reid and the real Democrats only?

RINO's unhappy with the House should feel free to change parties.

The internet will prevent House Republicans from hiding from their constituents. If they want to keep their jobs, they need to hold the line.

Recall Germany surrendered that humiliation Treaty of Versailles after their people demanded peace, which was after Wilson's 14 points promised them they would be treated humanly, suckers!

RE :”aw hell nah...boner and mcgoo will happily wave the parchment before the masses while declaring ‘peace in our time’

That analogy seems popular here now but I don't think it applies.

Bohner did the Newt shutdown thing. He actually went through with it. (Turns out that didnt automatically defund Obama-care, but who cudda known?)

Next is for him to do the Newt surrender thing in that old French railway car. Then years from now we will hear romantic stories of how glorious the victory was by Rush and others.
