Renewable energy is blamed for jeopardizing Europes energy security this winter, a new study has found. EurActiv France reports.
The French multinational company Cap Gemini warned in their European Observatory of Energy Markets that energy security in Europe was under threat and that the region could soon be exposed to massive power outages during the winter, due to a lack of production capacity. They blame wind turbines.

Don’t worry, Global Warming will keep them warm.

From the article:
"cheap gas in the United States has diverted stocks of US coal toward Europe, where prices have collapsed."
Its a double whammy in Europe: high priced natural gas and cheap coal.
Its difficult to replace coal with renewables, especially when coal is cheap.
Its much easier to replace high priced natural gas with renewables.

Neah. They use a lot of natural gas. But Putin is going to have ‘em over a barrel!

when we were shivering thru power cuts in the 1970’s UK, at least we could blame striking coal miners.
this one will be totally self inflicted !

Get a load of this load of crap at "Smart" Planet regarding renewable energy in Germany:
http://www.smartplanet.com/blog/take/myth-busting-germanys-energy-transition/1275?tag=nl.e662&s_cid=e662&ttag=e662&ftag=TRE383a915
"Major English-language media have been propagating a false narrative about the stunning success of Germanys transition to renewable energy: the Energiewende. To hear them tell it, the transition has been a massive failure, driving up power prices, putting Germanys grid at risk of blackouts, and inspiring a mass revolt against renewables.
Nothing could be further from the truth."

“Europe threatened by power outages this winter”
Britain has about a three week supply of gas in its reservoir tanks, yet it’s sitting on a 400 year supply of gas in its shale. The eco-Nazis are protesting fraking. When it comes to the global warming myth, Brits are much more brainwashed than Americans.

Ah, the rewards Europe is getting for upholding pseudoscience.
