Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called on House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) to work with House Speaker John Boehner to pass a grand bargain deal that would end the government shutdown, raise the debt ceiling, and protect Obamacare by not delaying or defunding it.
On ABC News This Week, Graham said Ryan should team with Boehner to pass some kind of deal that doesnt delay or defund [Obamacare] but would be good government.
Thats the best thing for the Republican Party and for the country, Graham said. But as between House and Senate Republicans, the sooner this is over, the better for us, guys.
Ryan took the lead in House negotiations and has offered a plan that would give President Barack Obama a clean debt ceiling increase while reopening the government in exchange for a repeal of the medical device sales tax in Obamacare and two changes to Obamacare that would, as some conservatives have said, ensure America has Obamacare forever.
Ryan fired shots at Senate Republicans.
Theyre trying to cut the House out, and trying to jam us with the Senate. Were not going to roll over and take that, Ryan said, according to the National Review.

Citizens of South Carolina: Execute your rights to send this guy away, please.
Will do...
This POS needs to be taken to the woodshed.
Does anyone care about what’s best for the country anymore?
Nope. At least not anyone of the ruling class? They only care for what will give them more power and money.
Senator B#tt Boy for the welfare state. Obama doesn’t need Reggie Love when he has this quisling.
Mincing, lisping piece of worthless garbage....
We could go on, but the point is that you never hear of the majority of citizens demanding a privatization of these.
Your model has failed miserably Lindsey.
Quit kissing McCain's posterior and think for yourself.
DO NOT push for a new government program to be the twentieth rail.
Last but not least, we got Obama. Look at him. Did that failure cause the public to reject him? If not, what makes you think Obamacare will be rejected?
Once something is put in place, it's almost impossible to get rid of.
Get rid of welfare. Then we'll talk about Obamacare...
So the best way to win is to surrender. Makes perfect sense.
I no longer care what is good for the party of P_ssys, I will not vote for one ever again!
Conservatives do.
We know this country cannot stand to just raise the debt limit every year and keep printing worthless money.
We know that Obamacare is a bad system that will bankrupt us as it destroys healthcare.
We know that Obama is a damned fool when it comes to Foreign policy, and a would be Dick-tator for Domestic policy.
We know Obama is helping the Muslim in the Middle east to grow stronger and cause more trouble. We know he doesn’t care about jobs for Americans ,but wants to import Hispanics to take American jobs.
I’ll bring the tar.
Send Linda Graham back to the beach in South Carolina....
It's easy to say this in hindsight, after the Obamacare website has crashed and burned, and it's in your face that Obamacare will collapse on its own.
But that wasn't the case last month, when it looked like a conservative last stand was the only thing that could stop it.
Hey Linda! Demand that the Kenyan take away YOUR immunity from ObamaCare and I'll think about it.
RINOs say screw the people, let Obamacare proceed.
We also know that Next to John Mccain, Lyndsey Graham is the biggest double crossing piece of scum in the Republican party.
Ya’ll can help. See tagline.
