They’re reintroducing the Florida Panther, each of which required 100 square miles of range and any of which could kill a small child. They bred them back using mountain lions from other states.

Half of Florida is wilderness. Are you saying with Florida being 50% populated we should kill all wild animals in Florida? Hell, that would mean killing just about every animal in North America.
If you are that afraid of animals then keep to the concrete cities and the stay of zoos and pet shelters.
Panthers and wolves are different. Panthers kill to eat and dont hunt humans. Wolves are pack animals and will kill anything just for the fun.
