The ACA Real Estate Tax is the subject of many misleading emails. Not to defend it, but few will be affected and it will not have any effect on the market except for the most expensive homes. (west coast? justice.....)
for example, 1 clause -
For married filers the first $500,000 in gain from the sale of a primary residence is not subject to the 3.8 percent Medicare tax, even if the taxpayers have a modified adjusted gross income greater than $250,000.
Not many people are gaining $1/2 million from their home sales anymore.
