Instead of trying to get the ‘Skins to change the team name, the moron educrats should change their school name. It honors one of the 20th Century's most egregious Socialists, a leftist whose anti-constitional and collectivist ideology helped send this country on a path to ruin that has done more to harm American Indians and blacks than anything else. And remember, Wilson was a virulent racist; he invited D.W. Griffith to the White House to screen his “Birth of a Nation.”

Just from the headline I knew it had to be one of two schools, Woodrow Wilson or Duke Ellington HS for the Performing Arts, the last two DC public HS’s in practically lily white neighborhoods.

Duke Ellington practically abuts Georgetown University and Wilson just to north on the way to $$$$$ Chevy Chase and Bethesda.

Georgetown being top tier real estate, the Wilson area is second tier for upper level GS mandarins and media folk.

You can bet that not one of the other public HS’s is entertaing any such notions.
