12:00 noon The Senate began a 15 minute roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.1569, a bill to ensure the complete and timely payment of the obligations of the United States Government until December 31, 2014;

Not Invoked: 53-45

Senator Reid changed his vote to no and entered a motion to reconsider the failed cloture vote at a later time.

Or is it just “Spend whatever you want until the end of next year”?

Not sure what the new limit would be but it won't matter,they'll go over it too.

I don’t know what they plan, but they’re going to need about $2 trillion to get them through until the end of 2014.

The federal deficit has been averaging about $100 billion per month since the ‘rats took Congress in 2006. They hit the limit in March of this year, and have been robbing the civil-service “401k” piggy-bank since.

They probably already owe that about $500 billion; look for a debt-increase of about that amount within a few days of whatever agreement they come to as the reimburse that money.
