We know what they’re really doing, and we know that it’s not the politicians doing it. We know what becomes far more likely each year—not less likely than during the ‘60s. But we don’t want to scare the chickens. Fond memories return of those cool sounding sirens at a particular time each month near a large base. The teachers said, “Children, get under your desks.
