Back on October 3, 2003 in Washington DC, I sat dumbfounded at a speech given by former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm. He spoke on, “How to Destroy America.” snip
Lamm said, “If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let’s destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall, and that, “An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”
“Here is how they destroyed their countries,” Lamm said. “First, turn America into a bilingual or multi lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way, “The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy. Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanon—all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons and Corsicans.”
Lamm continued on how to destroy America, “Invent ‘multiculturalism’ and encourage immigrants to maintain their own culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences! I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.”
Any fool can see that Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, New York and Miami are no longer American cities. Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco and many other cities are not far behind. Immigrants arrive at over 3.1 million per year, so fast and so many, that they are not assimilating into the American Dream. However, they are creating the American Nightmare for Americans. You would be insulted if you spoke English and you’re not welcome in immigrant enclaves of those cities.
“We could make the United States an “Hispanic Quebec” without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: “The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multi-cultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.”
Detroit Muslims forced businesses to install “Press 1” for Arabic, “Press 2 for Spanish” and “Press 3 for English.” We have a president that bows to Muslim leaders and last week, he apologized to Afghanistan’s President Karzi for burning a few Korans, but didn’t mention that Afghanistan soldiers executed to the back of their heads two U.S. Army officers that had nothing to do with the burnings and wounded four other U.S. military troops. Tell me again why we are sacrificing thousands of our young kids in that hell hole of Islamic insanity for the past 10 years?
Lamm added, “I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural sub-groups living in America reinforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.”
“Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50 percent dropout rate from high school.”
According to a CNN report, 7,000 high school students drop out of school every day, one every 26 seconds. The U.S. now features 42 million functionally illiterate Americans that cannot read, write or perform simple math. Another 50 million cannot read past the 4th grade level. Democracy requires four disciplines to flourish while remaining viable. It requires an educated population that possesses a similar moral and ethical foundation while speaking the same language. The United States, via massive immigration, is losing all four aspects. It cannot and will not remain viable much longer with the disruption of its educational systems. Conflicting languages bring a whole new can of worms to the crisis.
“My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of “Victimology.” I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population.”
While a few elites in high places make billions of dollars, they corrupt America’s rule of law and undermine the Middle Class. If you’ll notice—Third World countries DO NOT sustain a Middle Class. They suffer a high class and a low class. America moves in that direction every day of this immigrant invasion. We feature 15 million unemployed and 46 million Americans subsisting on food stamps in 2012.
“My sixth plan for America’s downfall would include dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other—that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks: “The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy Persia threatened their liberty. Yet, all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors…local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the ‘pluribus’ instead of the ‘unum’, we can balkanize America as surely as Kosovo.”
Lamm continued, “Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits—make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of “diversity.” I would find a word similar to “heretic” in the 16th century—that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like “racist” or “xenophobe” halt discussion and debate.”
At every juncture today, anti-American groups like the ACLU, La Raza, MALDEF, LULAC, and MECHA, which are pro illegal alien Mexican groups on U.S. soil—scream “racism” if anyone protests illegal migration. You have to wonder what will happen when they gain majority populations? (Hispanics will gain majority population by 2040.) Will they allow us to use the word “racism” as they promote their agenda of “Reconquista of Aztlan” while they break our country into pieces? At over 10 million illegal migrant Mexicans now transplanted onto U.S. soil, they are well on their way.
“Having made America a bilingual--bicultural country, having established multiculturalism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of “Victimology,” Lamm said. “I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: “That because immigration has been good for America, it must ALWAYS be good. I would make every individual immigrant sympatric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."
President Barack Obama ceased enforcing America’s immigration laws as of December of 2011. He has filed suit against South Carolina, Alabama and Arizona for attempting to enforce their own laws against their migrant invasions.
In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. A profound silence swept over the room. Finally, he said, “Lastly, I would censor Victor Davis Hansen’s book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don’t read that book.”
There was no applause.
Actually, I’d like to put the ‘united’ in the united States of America. Prior to the Civil War this country was referred to in the plural and not the singular and that reflected the sovereignty and primacy of the several States over the central government. Since that time the whole notion of state’s rights has become a mockery.
I can tell you I’m certainly not proud of my country. Matter of fact, right now, I’m embarassed by it.
God has various means, and effectual ones, to baffle and defeat ‘the projects and agendas” of proud men that set themselves against him,.... and particularly he divides them among themselves.
HE did so at the tower of Babel when man sought to establish his own central power and honor... by confusing their languages they scattered... which sent them to their own lands among their own kind.
When their are NO distinctions for a country as it's own country....there will be war and division and hatred. Those coming to our country no longer come here to assimilate into our culture....they are shaping their culture within ours and then move to make it their own. There is no good outcome as this continues in our country..none!
Because a “United Globe of Earth” is more important to these elites.

I should now “unite”..... unite with whom?
We are split in so many groups/pieces it’s tough to even count them all. So, should I unite with blacks, knowing full well that they hate my guts? Of the many groups that steal from me, which one of those groups should I unite with? Should I unite with my enemies?
I miss what we once were, but I also know that it is now gone. Unlike some, at least I have the memories.

I know that many, many of us feel, myself included, that this is no longer our country. Since Obama’s re-election, the Supreme Court putting its stamp of approval on Obamacare, the federal government forcing same-sex marriage on us, the U.S. Military being turned into some social experiment, IRS/NSA scandals, Benghazi, and on and on.
So, I, for the first time ever, do not feel a part of this nation any longer. I grieve for our country as though it is dead, like a loved family member.
And, yet, when I read Thomas Paine’s words above and think what our nation was facing at that period of time, I feel a sense of shame that I thought of turning my back on my country when it is in such dire straits. We’ve got to unify a majority of our nation around the principles our nation was founded upon.
And we have to do it in spite of the mainstream media, in spite of Hollywood, MTV, the destruction of the family, and the collapse of our culture.
The only way I see it happening is the same way Christianity spread - by example, by word of mouth one person at a time. From family, to neighbor, to street, to community, to town, to city, to state, to the nation. From texting, to twitter, to church meetings, PTA meetings, standing in line at the store, wherever, etc. - plus a lot of prayer.
And, some of us are going to have to participate in political party meetings, make calls, go door to door, - even run for office. How else is this going to happen?
And, this is the hardest part, if the guy we want doesn’t get nominated, we’ve got to support whoever does and push him/her over the top. What else is there? Just quit and go home?
Even Benedict Arnold helped our nation for a time. When he turned on us, we turned him out. And, you can’t always tell who the real patriots are going to be and who becomes a traitor.
Just my two cents.
Actually it was only one leader who led.
Clinton balanced the budget only because he knew he would be castigated if he didn't. He finally signed it on the third try.
There's lots of revisionist history about Clinton. In reality, he's as slimy as Reid.
