Well thanks, but how about increase taxes on foreign manufactured goods to pay down our 17 trillion dollar and growing, federal trade deficit?

Just saying.

Well to start with, now almost all computers, and virtually all tablet PC’s are made in China.

As are almost all the things to buy in almost every store everywhere.

We need to bring back US manufacturing.

I think we’re ok in the buggy whip industry, all the same.

But we really, really need to stop sending everything everywhere else to make, and to sell.

We need to make things.

Right here.

Budget deficit. Repeat after me, budget deficit. And recently (at least), from where do you hear that we need to raise taxes to reduce the budget deficit? Left, or Right?

Trade deficit, and budget deficit.

See that is the part which is causing so much trouble now. Our trade deficit is every bit now as big a problem, as our budget deficit.

We run a huge and increasing trade deficit.

Neither party seems to see that as an issue. It is an issue, and growing.

Bring back American industry.

Bring back Agriculture Jobs to America!

Over 90% of Americans used to be employed in Agriculture.

I yearn for the days when we had enough jobs in Agriculture.

Send College Graduates to the fields with hoes!

Of course when you take his argument to its logical conclusion, it sounds silly.
